Vicky’s 2016 London Challenge
Vicky Vernon has been supporting Birstall BAGS for a number of years, after seeing loved ones go through cancer. Vicky has been inspired by the great work that Birstall BAGS have achieved and is dedicated to support cancer patients around Birstall and Leicestershire.
“When I started running 2 years ago if you asked me then if I saw myself running a marathon I would probably have laughed. Back then I couldn’t even run 26 meters let alone 26 miles, but 2 years on I love running and with the help of Team Anstey and our coach. I am now prepared to take on the most physical and mental challenge of my life, but I am positive that one way or another I will be crossing the finish line.”
