Ian Hay and a group of friends, all of whom had been affected by cancer in some way, set themselves a fundraising challenge to raise money for BAGS and the Marie Curie. The team bought and refurbished old Honda C90 mopeds and decided to bike from Land’s End to John O’Groats in three days, covering 340 miles per day. Thanks to the generosity of friends, local companies and sports teams, they managed to raise an amazing £5,483 for us and Marie Curie. Thank you to the team and everyone who sponsored them or donated.
