On Saturday 26th June, a Charity Golf Day in aid of Birstall BAGS was organised by supporters and local golfer John Clayton. A fantastic day was had by all, with over 72 participants taking part in the activity to raise an incredible £2000 to help Birstall BAGS extend their support for cancer patients and extend services to people in Birstall and Leicestershire.
Congratulations to Captain Richard Smith’s charity for the year Team Tidge who won the day.
Birstall BAGS would like to extend their thank yous to Birstall Golf Club and the committee, Captain and Vice-Captain and members for their hospitality for the wonderful course to the bar and catering staff to secretary Alice to everyone who donated prizes and bought raffle tickets to all the participants to our cake Makers and those that served in the half way house and most of all John, Jo and Lilia Clayton for making the day happen.
